I have a lot of Nolan Ryan cards. No, that's probably an understatement. I'm not going to add them all up, but I believe that I have more than 100, and they are all up for grabs. I've always been a Nolan Ryan magnet, and I can't really complain about that. I was never a huge fan, but I built up a lot of respect for a guy that could still perform at the level that he performed at well into his 40s. As usual, see the end of the post for the complete list. I haven't received a ton of interest in these posts, so let me just assure you that I'm not seeking anything special in trade for these cards. They're merely being tossed into the abyss that is the general populace of my card collection, subject to my random whims and occasional Listia postings. Let me know if something intrigues you.
I wish there was a tribute card to the Ryan/Ventura brawl.
This is one of those 60 Years of Topps inserts from last year's Topps set. Don't get too excited.
Ryan was already on his 3rd MLB team when I started accumulating baseball cards. I was never an Astros fan, but I certainly admired their uniforms. I also was an Astro when we won trophies in little league, so there's that.
This might be one of the dumbest cards ever. A fledgling game manufacturer trying to masquerade as a baseball card company tended to get cute.
Despite the intrusive font, this is a 180 degree turn from the Classic card. This is the way you crown the King of All No-Hitters, with a night card Night Owl would be proud of.
I really like the old Mother's Cookies cards. If there's anything in this lot that I am letting go with a little bit of reservation, it's these guys.
Ahh, good ol' unlicensed oddballs.
7 no-hitters? 300 wins? 5000 strikeouts? All the milestones!
This kind of looks like a Kanye West video. All of the lights.
I have a ton of these Pacific Nolan Ryan cards. I guess that's what happens when the entire set is based around one player. I seem to remember these packs being pretty cheap, and they were very similar in design to their inaugural NFL set in 1991.
I have the Upper Deck football throwing Ryan card, too.
This doesn't look like a tense pennant race as much as it looks like a warmup drill, since you see no players or spectators in the background.
This is fun.
More Mother's Cookies. This one is from 1993. All of my Mother's Cookies Ryan cards are still in the original wrappers, for what it's worth.
This one is from a later Pacific set, but you can barely tell.
