The luster has come off of David Freese a little bit since his World Series heroics. He's still going to be an icon in St. Louis for years to come, especially as a hometown-boy-done-good, and you will always be able to say that the Cardinals won the trade with the Padres that brought him to town. He's having a down year, however, and at age 30 he will likely never be a top tier star.
The list follows at the end of the post. I believe I may also still have some rookie cards of his from the 2009 Ginter and Heritage sets on their respective want/trade lists as well.
Oh yes, I forgot for a moment that I am supposed to be selling people on these cards, not making you wonder why you would ever collect them. Freese is a solid hitter and run producer who in optimal form provides a valuable bat at a position that isn't as hitter-rich as it used to be.
