Up For Grabs: Mr. October

Reggie Jackson was technically my first favorite player. He was a showman of the highest extreme (for baseball, anyway) and that was exciting to a young person who was just getting to know the rules of the game. If I had any room in my collection at all for a guy with no ties to the Cardinals or Oregon whatsoever, I might think about collecting Reggie's cards just for nostalgia's sake. Instead, I offer them up to you, the reader, at a reasonable (trade) price. As always, the list follows at the end of the pictures.

This mini insert from last year's Topps set brought the number of pictures I've seen of Reggie as an Oriole up to 2. This is almost like Pete Rose's Expos stint, except that Reggie lasted a whole season in Charm City.

Hot out of a $9.99 Target box, this is the gold holoversion of Reggie's Chasing History insert. Now that 2013 Heritage is out, I'm sure nobody cares about the base set anymore.

Reggie had his own TV show on Nickelodeon. How cool was that? Forget the candy bar, because this was something you could totally find on YouTube.

You wouldn't know it by the scan, but this card isn't in the greatest shape.

Need that '87 Mini and maybe a few others here. Lemme look and I'll ascertain what. We were workin' on something a few weeks ago, so we can probably tack this on and finish 'er up!

BTW - I just posted a couple of Ozzie Smith oddballs on ATBATT. would you like one (or both?)of those for the Reggie?

Similarly rare to an Oriole Reggie (or Expo Rose) is a Marlin Piazza.
