Pujols and Holliday, Back to Back

Some critique: that appears to be a very fake 2008 Topps card that Skip is holding. I'm guessing they decided to mock up something that would be extremely recognizable as Pujols for people with smaller TVs. But what about the rest of the cards? Clearly at least some of them are 2009 Topps cards, as the backs are very recognizable. I think there might be a few regular (or fake?) 2008 cards near the end of the stack as well.

Also, this goes without saying, but... Go Cardinals!

  1. I would love to have that Puljos card if it existed.

  4. First of all, let me say that I really need to start proof reading my comment posts a little better before I just go throwing them up on blogs with reckless abandon (sorry for the deleted comments above). Second, let me say that it would be nice to have the ability to edit comments on here (I hope there isn’t an “EDIT” button somewhere that I missed).

Now for my original comment is all its glory:

Do you think the Cardinals police are going to come and cart me off to jail for using their fake 2008 Topps Pujols card on my blog?

Ok ok ok...shameless self promotion on another's blog is probably not the best way to go about things, but one often resorts to desperate measures when one wants more followers.

By the way...love your blog. Keep fighting the good fight! Go Cards!
