Not a Great Name Among 'Em

Noted Tim Biakabutuka fan SpastikMooss sent over a nice little package of Cardinal goodies. I'll have to assume that none of these players' names were up to snuff, but that's okay. They've got a home here. I'm rather exhausted tonight (thank you, real job!) so I'm going to cut to the chase and just show a few images. Were I not so tired, I could have mentioned that the Blazers appear to be in midseason form already as they stomped on Blake Griffin's Clippers without an actual center in their lineup. Oh, and the Ducks... they are awesome.

I need to spend less time working and more time sticking Panini stickers.

This is one of the oddest oddballs I've ever received. I love it. Somewhere in this regionally produced card sandwich is a Don Mattingly disc, but I don't want to mess this priceless gem up at all to free it. It's a good thing that I like Mattingly. I'm getting a kick out of Pena's yellow Pirates batting helmet on a "Cardinals" "card".

Surprise bonus relic! I imagine that Upper Deck ended up with a lot of extra Chris Duncan memorabilia pieces after he didn't really live up to his early MLB promise. I'm still rooting for Duncan to make it back to the majors with another team as an extra bat, but it would make the most sense if said team was an American League team since they're afraid to let their pitchers bat.

Thanks again to SpastikMooss and anyone else that sends me packages. I'll try harder next time.

  1. Glad you liked them! And I had no idea about the internal Donnie Baseball on that Pena disc...very weird haha.
